The photos have arrived

July 25, 2008 – 5:24 pm

Hello Good people,

I received my black and white photos today and was so excited I nearly self combusted in front of the postman. It brought back the memories of being in India and affirmed to me why I am staging the exhibition. I went to see my venue today and got a better feel for it. I just need to keep on at the press people and get a bit more coverage. If anyone can help spread the word then just get in touch by using the contact box thing me gig.

Enjoy the sunshine and I will see you all at the mystical Cafe Crypt.

Roof of the World Exhibition

June 23, 2008 – 7:26 pm

Dear people of the world,

This week is a time for change.

I have started to work towards my Roof of the World exhibition. I am staging it to raise awareness about the current issues that the Tibetan people are facing in 2008, the year of the Beijing Olympic Games. Meeting the people that made there escape journey across from Tibet to India through the Himalayan mountain range made me release what an amazing spirit the Tibetan people have. I made a couple of intriguing monk friends while I was staying in Dharamsala, the home of the Dalai Lama. When talking to them over a hot cup of chai, they subject changed from suffering intense frostbite due to their 48 hour trek across the Himalayas to laughing about a cow chewing on a piece of rubbish. Even when faced with living in exile they manage to maintain a positive attitude.
